Am I Eligible for Core, Intensive and/or Training Services?
Level I - Core Services
Anyone age 18 or older can receive the Core Services offered at our WORKFORCE West Virginia Centers (One-Stops).
Level II - Intensive Services
These services are available to adults and dislocated workers who have completed one or more Core Services and are still unable to gain employment or who are employed and have been determined to be in need of services to get a better job in order to gain self-sufficiency.
Level III - Training Services
These services are available to employed and unemployed adults and dislocated workers who have completed one or more Intensive Services and still cannot obtain employment leading to self-sufficiency.
Difference between Adults & Dislocated Workers
The following is the adult eligibility requirements:
Age 18 or older;
US citizen or legal alien;
Meet Selective Service requirements; and
Meet WIA income guidelines.
The following is the dislocated worker eligibility requirements:
Age 18 or older;
US citizen or legal alien;
Meet Selective Service requirements; and
Meet the criteria under the dislocated worker definition.
