Currently, the Region VI Workforce Investment Board is in the process of defining local policy as it relates to the Workforce Investment Act. Here you can find policy notices and updates that may affect employment and training initiatives in your community.

Purpose: This guidance letter outlines the policy covering the priority of services for intensive and training services, funded with Title I Adult Funds for the Region VI Workforce Investment Board, under the Workforce Investment Act of 1998.

Purpose: To transmit guidance promoting the seamless integration and coordination of services provided under Trade Act programs-TAA and NAFTA-TAA with the services provided under WIA.

Purpose: To inform Local Training Providers of policy and guidelines regarding Performance Requirements and Subsequent Eligibility.
Guidance Letter 01 R-1: Exception to permit youth who are not low income individuals to receive youth services
Purpose: To establish policy and outline additional program elements for over income youth participating in Workforce Investment Activities with Region VI.

Purpose: To transmit guidance promoting the seamless integration and coordination of services provided under Trade Act programs-TAA and NAFTA-TAA with the services provided under WIA.

Purpose: To clarify the Region VI ITA Policy in regards to WIA participants wishing to change programs. (Number 6 of the policy)
